In 1954 the Supreme Court declared racial segregation unconstitutional and the results in Hollywood were quick. Because of the racial issue Mammy-Two-Shoes' last episode was in 1952 but the new court ruling put pressure on re-issuing old cartoons with her presence still in them. MGM decided to recolor and dub the old cartoons with an irish maid and the voice of June Foray. The Cartoon Network has episodes that are dubbed again with a new set of voices.
